• What are your operating hours?
  • Office hours are from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, except holidays.
• How quickly can you turn an order?
  • For a new order, we normally turn it in 7-10 business days. An exact repeat order is quicker at just 5-7 business days. Times can often be reduced even further if arrangements are made up front based on materials, tooling and an approved proof.
• What does "unwind direction" mean and why is it important?
  • Labels can be wound in eight different positions, (four being the most common). If you are applying labels by hand, the position may not be crucial. However, machine applications require a specific position.
• What is the difference between "spot colors" and "four-color process"?
  • ?Spot colors? refers to individual colors of ink that match a PMS (Pantone Matching System) number to a specific color.

    One the other hand, the four-color process blends Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black ink, using color separations (colors are mixed in overlapping areas), to create additional colors.

    Often times, a spot color will vary in appearance from the same color that uses the four-color process to try and achieve the same results.

• In what format should we submit our artwork?
  • We support most of the commonly-used industry software including Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, FreeHand, and PageMaker. Files should be saved as EPS or PDF files.
